My new addiction is to enjoy city view from the top. I would do anything possible. I’d climb a mountain, a roof, a tower or whatever it takes. And here in Gold Coast, I found a gorgeous place, just a perfect spot to soak up the heights.
For AUD 21 per person, I got to be at the top of the iconic Q1 Building. Here they have the SkyPoint, which is the highest point above the Gold Coast and offers spectacular 360 degree views. To be at what people call as the ‘Australia’s only beach side Observation Deck’, boy I was a happy girl.
SkyPoint is situated on Level 77 atop the Q1 Building; about 5 minutes walk from Surfers Paradise Beach. From up there, I was seriously surprised at how big and beautiful the Gold Coast really is. Ordering some drinks from the restaurant, I spent hours just to stare at the view in awe. Not too many people were present when I was there, so I could enjoy the breathtaking scenery in a better way.

There is something about heights. Maybe it’s the broad picture I see. Maybe it’s the tingle on my feet. Maybe it’s the liberating feeling inside. Maybe because it sparks romance. Or maybe because it’s simply classic and I will never get bored.
Later the day, there was an engagement party held over at Skypoint, so they closed a small part of the venue for the special guests. Aawww…the idea of being in love in a place like this is very intriguing. I like it ❤.

Don’t run away from what you’re feeling and don’t deny or pretend that those feelings are not there. Embrace the heights
