Jogjakarta is memorable. How cheap the good hotels are (Hotel Puri Chorus Gejayan charges Rp. 250 thousand per night for a clean spacious room plus breakfast), the wonderful traditional massage (Sari Ayu Martha Tilaar Day Spa, ask for the older lady from nearest villages), the good food (SS/Special Sambal –extremely tasty and super cheap- ; Milas the vegetarian resto- ORDER the Ubi Goreng with guacamole dip..super nice!), how awesome is circling Malioboro with becak for only Rp.5000 (of course we tip him a lot..i mean a LOT!), how glorious Borobudur is (although we got LOST while trying to get there with our GPS at 4 oc’clock in the morning trying to catch the sunrise which we never got to -should have just followed the normal direction instead…duh!- will surely see it one day when we return),

how safe it is walking around at midnight, the famous Kopi Jos (I never understand why would anybody drink coffee with burning COAL in it..literally..but watching them do it is interesting enough),

the breathtaking view of Merapi & the freshness of Kaliurang, and last but not least the Culture thickness. Will surely return to Jogjakarta with my loved one by plane or by car (the last time we drove there for 10 hours from Jakarta!). Yes, we will return.
