Gue menghabiskan beberapa hari setelah Natal di Amsterdam<\/a>. Secara pribadi, diluar semua keindahan kota, gue berpikir bahwa Amsterdam cocok menyandang gelar sebagai salah satu “kota dosa” alias sin city<\/em> di dunia. WHY\u00a0<\/em>? Kayaknya banyak yang udah tau kenapa. Kali ini, gue punya kesempatan ngeliat sendiri. Mariyuana, pornografi dan prostitusi… semua terpampang bebas tanpa ada sensor di jalanan! Buset. Mari jalan-jalan di Amsterdam the Sin City.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

I spent a few days after Christmas 2012 in Amsterdam. It’s a beautiful touristy city. But personally, I prefer calling it the sin city. I think you know why.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Di Amsterdam, kita bisa jalan di pusat kota dimana kanan kiri nya banyak tempat bertuliskan\u00a0“Coffee Shops”<\/em>. Eh, TAPI BUKAN tempat kopi.\u00a0“Coffee Shops”<\/em> tuh adalah sebutan untuk tempat bebas mabok ganja di Amsterdam. Kalau “CAFE”,<\/em> baru artinya tempat kopi. Jangan salah masuk ya. Tidak ada larangan khusus untuk bisa nongkrong di Coffee Shops<\/em> ini di Amsterdam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where else in the world where you can walk in a city center marijuana exposed legally everywhere. There are \u201ccoffee shops\u201d, hundreds of them, spread at every corner. You can\u2019t walk more than a block in any direction without seeing one. In Amsterdam, \u201ccoffee shop\u201d means a legal place to get stoned by pot. It\u2019s different from a \u201cCaf\u00e9\u201d, a normal place to drink coffee. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Bukan cuma coffee shops<\/em>, disana pun ada sebuah \u2018Cannabis College<\/em>\u2019 yang harga masuknya cuma Rp.45.000 aja. Didalamnya bisa ngeliat \u2018taman\u2019 marijuana<\/strong> kecil mereka dan gratis ngisep marijuana sepuasnya dikasih sama yang punya. Sadis nih. <\/span><\/p>\n

Turis turis cowok rata-rata menggila disini\u2026mereka bayar sampai 10 euro (Rp.150.000-an) untuk paket hisap yang lebih maksimal. Semua alat hisap disediakan, caranyapun diajarin kalo nggak tau. Ck ck ck banget deh. Sebelum kita keluar, mereka juga menawarkan produk-produk ganja yang lain seperti sabun, lotion, dll. Gue sempet beli permen ganja buat oleh-oleh, tapi akhirnya gue buang pas di airport karena takut di Indonesia-nya nanti dikira macem-macem. Ntar sampe masuk penjara kan nggak lucu ya…<\/span><\/p>\n

I entered a \u2018Cannabis College\u2019, and paid 3 euro to see a small cannabis plantation at their basement. It also comes with free smoke of marijuana they provided. Whoa! They also sell products of marijuana. Marijuana shampoos, soaps, lotions, lip balms, snacks, etc. I bought a candy for souvenir purpose, but ended up throwing it in the trash because I didn\u2019t wanna take the risk of bringing it to Indonesia and have the possibility of getting caught and end up in prison. Haha.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Selain marijuana, ada pornografi<\/strong> yang menggila di Amsterdam. Segala jenis pornografi dijual dan dipajang BEBAS sebebas merpati disini. EVERYWHERE<\/em> di pusat kota.<\/em>\u00a0Beberapa kartu pos yang gue liat di pinggir jalan itu gambarnya parah banget. Mungkin salah satu gambar terporno yang pernah gue liat. Dan itu di pinggir jalaann!!!!! Super kaget gue. <\/span><\/p>\n

Banyak juga toko-toko seks yang menjual segala jenis benda aneh yang bahkan belum pernah gue denger. Nggak perlu masuk, yang dipajang di etalase aja udah cukup bikin deg-deg an dan sedikit pusing. Hahaha! Belum lagi penyewaan video porno dengan sebagian besar isi videonya di print dan di pajang pake neon di luar. <\/span><\/p>\n

Terus ada juga tempat-tempat menonton orang beradegan seks, LIVE, dengan tinggal masuk ruangan aja dan bayar deh pake koin.Toko souvenir pun nggak mau kalah. Masuk toko, isinya alat kelamin dalam berbagai bentuk, ukuran, dan jenis, dalam bentuk kaos, gambar, mug, tempat pensil, permen, dan lain-lain. Pilih sampe jereng! <\/span><\/p>\n

Pokoknya otak seperti dipaksa mikir jorok kalo lagi jalan-jalan di beberapa pusat turis di Amsterdam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yang bikin makin panik lagi ialah adanya museum-museum erotik yang ngasih diskon khusus untuk anak dibawah 13 tahun!!!! \u00a0GAK MASUK AKAL!!! DAANNN, ada loh beberapa orang tua yang ngajak anak-anak mereka masuk ke dalam tempat-tempat itu. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gue aja udah segede gini masih syok ngeliatnya. Apa kabar anak-anak kecil itu ya, dari kecil udah di ekspos sebebas itu terhadap seks…GILA.<\/span><\/p>\n

The porn is also visible clearly in Amsterdam at every souvenir shop. I found the nastiest postcards I have ever seen in my entire life in one of the shops near the central station. They were nicely put at the storefront where everyone including kids can look at them clearly. The writings and photos on those postcards, also on the t-shirts, the mugs, the cards, the fridge magnets and everything else were simply shocking. At least for me. Sex shops are everywhere also. Erotic museums are offering less price for under 13 years olds!!!! Even for touristy reasons, I just found it crazy and sad.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Kalau itu belum cukup, ada juga satu jalanan di pusat kota yang sangat terkenal di Amsterdam bernama Red Light District.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Yes! Pernah denger tentang yang satu ini? Bayangin aja, ada satu jalanan (bebas lewat) berisi rumah-rumah prostitusi<\/strong> dengan jendela terbuka, memajang perempuan-perempuan nyaris telanjang yang menjual dirinya di jendela itu tadi. Sangat mengagetkan. Kita nih turis, bebas lewat-lewat melihat mereka seolah-olah mereka bukan manusia. Berjejer jual diri di etalase.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kalau jendelanya tertutup dan lampu merah didepan nya menyala, artinya di penjaja seks itu sedang terima pelanggan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Segala jenis perempuan dijual disini. Asia, Eropa, Afrika, dari berbagai bentuk tubuh semua ada. Disekitar situ pastinya menjamur toko khusus menjual peralatan seks dan peep show<\/em> seperti yang udah gue ceritain di atas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding to it, of course the famous Red Light District. Oh my. Almost naked prostitutes standing there waving at possible customers passing by, parading themselves in crystal clear windows. Shocking view. I feel really really really sorry for them, even though they looked like they enjoy the attention.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The live porn shows are there as well. All of these things are there, out in the open, where every single human being in Amsterdam has access to it. Oh my.<\/span>

Bukan cuma sampai situ.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sekitar 10 menit dari sana ada sebuah taman bernama VondelPark.<\/em> Pernah denger nggak? Vondelpark\u00a0 <\/em>bentuknya ya kayak taman biasa gitu. Tapi ternyata sangat sangat nggak biasa dan terkenal sejagat gara-gara ke-nggak biasa- nya itu. Ini adalah taman di Amsterdam yang menurut hukum merupakan taman tempat bebas behubungan seks di alam terbuka. NAH! Taman seks,<\/strong> sodara-sodara. Kalau masuk sini, orang bebas melakukan apapun. Taman kota terbesar di Amsterdam ini terletak sudah lebih dari satu setengah abad karena didirikan sekitar 1864 dan luas awalnya cuma 8 hektar, tapi seiring berjalannya waktu luasnya menjadi 45 hektar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Di dalamnya banyak pohon berusia tua, sebuah kolam besar dan panggung terbuka untuk menggelar pertunjukan seni. Orang banyak yang kesini tanpa niat apapun selain jalan-jalan dan menikmati keindahan alam… tapi ya yang dateng untuk gituan<\/em> atau minimal untuk ngintip orang gituan<\/em> juga nggak kalah banyaknya wkwkwkwkw. Legal soalnya. Risih kan masuk sini? Apalagi orang Indo yang kebiasaan dasarnya emang suka ngeliatin orang lain. <\/span><\/p>\n

Peraturan disini hanyalah dilarang berhubungan seks pagi-pagi atau siang bolong karena ini pada dasarnya adalah taman untuk keluarga, bukan 100 persen taman mesum, jadi kalau siang masih banyak anak kecil main sama orang tuanya disini. Peraturan kedua, kalau berhubungan seks disini, harap jangan ninggalin kondom bekas sembarangan tapi buang di tempat sampah. Yak! Udah dua itu doang peraturannnya. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gue sendiri mampir dan masuk ke taman ini suatu sore yang dingin dan gue liat… hm, ceritanya jangan disini deh ya. Hahahaha.<\/span><\/p>\n

And, have you heard of\u00a0 Vondelpark? Amsterdam even has a park called VondelPark, where according to the law, people can legally and freely have sex in it without fear of getting arrested or bothered. The park itself is actually an awesome space for a good walk, jog, cycle, taking your dog out for a walk or to spend some time with family. There is separate area to have a BBQ and stuff and it often has live music performances as well. It’s pretty but it’s one of public parks in Europe (only 2 in Europe) where you are allowed to have sex in it. The only rules are please do it in the evening or night time when children are less likely to be there and please pick up your condoms – assuming you use one. What do you think? Pas kan kalo gue bilang ini adalah sin city<\/em>. Tapi tetep kok, segala sesuatu terletak di niat masing-masing turis yang dateng kesini. Mau have fun<\/em> biasa aja tanpa mikir aneh-aneh kesana juga bisa banget.<\/strong> Pilih aja sudut kota lain dari Amsterdam yang ‘aman’. Banyak museum keren, taman keren, tempat keren, resto enak dan tempat wisata lainnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Told you, it\u2019s a sin city. Tho please do not get it wrong. It’s all in people’s mind, perspective and intention. For me, Indonesians, what i found in Amsterdam mostly are considered taboo and forbidden. But there are many other sides of the city that is pure scenic and interesting and historical as well. I will surely plan to come back to explore more of the interesting Amsterdam.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
